I am wondering if there are plans to implement a bootsplash in Puppy. I am thinking of maybe using Splashy, which is kernel independent, so there are no additional patches necessary. I've been using Splashy with Ubuntu, and it's pretty cool.

Pizzasgood has compiles a booting splash screen for puppy which will be included in the TS3.03CE next community edition of Puppy Linux
