The Puppy HD installer needs improving. Many newbies are having too many problems. I have looked at a lot of distro's the last few weeks and Puppy is # 1 except for installation. First impressions can make are break a distro.

I think EcoMoney is looking at a better on-screen way to do this. There were threads in the TalkingStick project which mentioned this.

Arising from those threads, I created a step-by-step illustrated page of how to use the installer (which does work, incidentally, it's just not pretty).

I agree, it's a daunting task.
